About Ben

​Ben, known as Ben's Beats, is a freelance session musician, producer and audio engineer from Manchester, UK. Ben specialises in a multitude of areas within the audio industry from live and studio session drumming to audio for film and advertisement.

​

Ben is the drummer/percussionist for Stepover, Midnight Matters, Thiara Collective, Conor & The Greenskeepers, K Estate, Mr Fish and Sticky Sol.

​

Achieving a first class Ba(Hons) in Creative Music Technology from the University of Salford and helping peers to achieve awards such as the Goff Richards Award in jazz performance, achieving a Distinction at Grade 8 level in music performance for drums, With over 18 years of first-hand experience behind the kit in a multitude of genres amassing over 220,000 listens on Spotify alone, Ben embraces any session no matter how unusual it may be!
